Salary/Retirement Salary Salary ranges are designed to be competitive with zone industries and municipalities. Social Security Euless is a non-participating agency. Funds are set whispered in a Public Pension or other retirement system for retirement. Public Pension Full-Time employees are enrolled in the Texas Municipal Retirement System – employee contributes 7% of salary; City matches 2:1. OBRA Plan Part-Time employees are enrolled in the OBRA Plan through Nationwide Retirement Systems – employee contributes 7.5% of salary. Deferred Compensation, 457(b) Full-Time employees may contribute spare retirement savings through Nationwide Retirement Systems. Longevity Pay Full-Time employees receive longevity pay on their paychecks in November of each year. $5.00 for every month of service without the first year. $10.00 for every month of service without the sixth year. Tuition Reimbursement Full-Time employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement without 6 months of employment. Income Protection Worker's Compensation Employees may receive up to six months of salary continuation due to an on-the-job injury. Short-TermPowerlessness(STD) Full-Time employees may receive short-term powerlessness income without 30 days of powerlessness and vacuum of their sick leave and vacation pay. Long-TermPowerlessness(LTD) Full-Time employees may receive long-term powerlessness income without 6 months of disability. Life Insurance The City covers full-time employees at 2.5x the employee's yearly salary. The City provides retirees with $7,500 in life insurance coverage. Voluntary Life Insurance Full-Time employees may purchase spare life insurance for themselves and eligible dependents.SpareDeathGoodyThe City provides an spare death goody of $5,000 to full-time employees. Pre-Paid Legal Services Full-Time employees may purchase pre-paid legal services.   Health Care Medical Insurance Medical Insurance is misogynist to full-time employees, eligible dependents, and retirees. Paid Time Off Vacation Full-Time employees receive paid vacation days without 1 year of service. Year 1 through 5: Employees stockpile 80 hours of paid vacation each year (Police & non-shift Fire stockpile 120 hours) Year 6 through 15: Employees stockpile 120 hours of paid vacation each year Year 16+: Employees stockpile 160 hours of paid vacation each year Due to shift differentials, the pursuit accrual rates wield for firefighters: Year 1 through 15:  Firefighters stockpile 180 hours of paid vacation each year Year 16+:  Firefighters stockpile 240 hours of paid vacation each year Holidays Full-Time employees receive 9 paid holidays per timetable year, including a floating holiday. New Year's Day Spring Holiday (Friday designated by the City Manager.  Firefighters may observe September 11th as the Spring Holiday.) Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving and thePursuitFriday Christmas Eve (Subject to City Manager approval) Christmas Day One Floating Holiday Sick Leave Full-Time employees with 1 through 20 years receive 120 hours of paid sick leave each year. Employees with 20+ years receive 160 hours of paid sick leave each year. Due to shift differentials, firefighters with 1 through 20 years receive 180 hours of paid sick leave each year.  Firefighters with 20+ years receive 240 hours of paid sick leave each year. Sick leave may be banked to a maximum of 130 days. Employees may use 3 days per timetable year towards firsthand family members. Bereavement Leave All eligible employees may be granted paid bereavement leave up to 24 hours, (36 hours for shift Fire personnel), per timetable year pursuit the loss of an firsthand or extended family member. Other Perks Service Awards Employees receive service pins for every five years of service. Uniforms/Cleaning A cleaning service is provided for Parks, Public Works and Facility Maintenance employees. A cleaning wage is provided for Police and Fire employees (shirts only). Euless Family Life Center Full-time employees and retirees receive a self-ruling membership to the Euless Family Life Center for themselves and their firsthand family living in the same household. Part-time employees receive a self-ruling membership for themselves. Texas Star Golf Course Employees receive a 15% unbelieve on untried fees and carts at the Texas Star Golf Course. Texas Star Conference Centre Employees receive a 25% unbelieve on room rental Sunday through Friday at the Texas Star Conference Centre. Animal Shelter The Euless Animal Shelter will waive all adoption fees for employees raising a pet. Parks and Community Services Rental Facilities Employees receive a 50% unbelieve on unrepealable City of Euless rental facilities.
